Who we are
Vacay Vanessa is the travel advisory brand of Vanessa Grimaldi, an independent travel advisor based in Springfield, Missouri. We help plan and book travel experiences; we are not an airline, cruise line, hotel, or tour operator.
Website use
You may browse the site for personal, non-commercial use. Do not misuse the site—including attempting to disrupt services, scrape content at scale, submit spam, or access private advisor tools without authorization.
Trip inquiries
Submitting a form is a request for planning help, not a confirmed booking. Pricing, availability, and itineraries change. Any booking is subject to the terms of the travel supplier (airline, cruise line, hotel, tour operator, etc.) and any confirmation we send you.
Advisory relationship
We provide travel recommendations and booking assistance based on the information you share. Final decisions—and responsibility for travel documents, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, and supplier rules—remain with you unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
Accuracy of information
We aim to keep site content helpful and current, but destination details, photos, schedules, and estimates may change. Always verify important details before you travel.
Photos and content
Website text, branding, and selected images are owned by us or used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission. Client photos appear with permission; tell us if you want an image removed.
Advisor App
The Vacay Vanessa Advisor App (dashboard / PWA) is a private tool for the authorized advisor. Unauthorized access is prohibited. Features, analytics, and data shown there support internal operations and client service.
Third-party services
The site and Advisor App may connect to third-party services (hosting, authentication, email, travel search providers, analytics). Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes outside our control.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the site, you acknowledge that policy.
Disclaimers
The site and services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Travel involves inherent risks; suppliers control many parts of your trip.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vacay Vanessa and Vanessa Grimaldi are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for supplier actions, cancellations, delays, or losses arising from your travel. Our total liability for claims relating to the website is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid us directly for the specific service at issue in the prior 12 months, or (b) $100.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site, inaccurate information you provide, or your violation of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Missouri have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these terms, except where prohibited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version.
